PORT FEATURES

At the GÜBRETAŞ Yarımca Port, handling operations are carried out for dry cargo, liquid cargo, liquefied gas (ammonia), and general cargo. The port also provides related services to third parties for these types of cargo.

The coastal facility is located in the Gulf of İzmit, where some of the most significant industrial enterprises of our country are situated. It is established at coordinates N: 40.77131 – E: 29.71679, in the Yarımca area of the Körfez district, Kocaeli. The facility is located 300 meters from the D-100 highway and 3 kilometers from the Körfez motorway toll gates. It has 19,000 m² of enclosed storage area for bulk dry cargo and 72,000 m³ of tank capacity for bulk liquid cargo.

The port facility which operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, have an annual handling capacity of up to 1 million tons of cargo.
The port facility is subject to the ISPS (International Ship and Port Security) Code, and all necessary security measures have been taken.
