Medicines and fertilizers are usually prepared with well water. Well waters generally have high pH and hard character. High pH water may cause undesirable changes in prepared pesticides and fertilizers. While the degradation time of drugs prepared with such water accelerates, their duration of action also shortens. In order to eliminate this negativity, the pH value of the water must be adjusted and its hardness must be eliminated.
