AMMONIUM SULFATE
AMMONIUM SULFATE
It is a source of nitrogen in the form of ammonium. It is a valuable nutrient source for soils where nitrogen deficiency is detected. In water-saturated areas, losses occur through denitrification (conversion from NO3 to free N2) in nitrogenous fertilizers containing nitrate. Due to these limitations of nitrate fertilizers, ammonium sulfate can be used in all types of soil.
