GÜBRETAŞ creates Model Production Areas for various agricultural plants in different parts of our country every year in order to popularize conscious plant nutrition based on soil analysis and to show producers ways to grow highly productive and superior quality products. Plant nutrition programs prepared according to soil and leaf analysis results are applied in Model Production Areas. Another aim of this project, carried out together with leading producers, is to achieve the highest efficiency with optimum fertilizer consumption. In this way, it is aimed to prevent excessive consumption of fertilizers, to prevent waste of resources and to protect our lands, which are our most valuable treasure. Production and harvest periods are recorded, and the results are shared with all producers through various communication channels through prepared films and infographics.

While 4 or 5 model production areas were created per year until 2018, this number increased to 20 in 2018, 27 in 2019, 31 in 2020 and 33 in 2021, as the interest of producers increased in the method of obtaining information by observing them in the field. Within the scope of the project, leading producers carry out sustainable agricultural practices under the consultancy of our expert agricultural engineers from planting to harvest. Obtaining a yield of 50% above Turkey and the region's average and 20% above the project partner leading farmer average in many model fields increases the interest of producers in conscious agriculture.

The results obtained in the model areas are also announced to the producers in the region through events held before or on the harvest day.
The production period is recorded and shared with all producers through various communication channels with films and infographics describing the practices performed.

In regions where model production areas are established, it is observed that awareness of plant nutrition elements affecting yield and quality, especially soil analysis, has increased.
