GÜBRETAŞ continues its agricultural consultancy, land prescription and farmer training meetings at many different points throughout Turkey within the scope of its activities to popularize conscious agriculture. In this context, around 400 producers and agricultural engineers came together in training meetings held in 3 different provinces on December 12, 2019.

The training meetings organized by GÜBRETAŞ in Kahramanmaraş, Muş and Şanlıurfa on December 12, 2019 attracted great attention from producers and agricultural engineers in the region. In the meetings held to raise conscious agricultural awareness among producers by explaining the benefits of proper plant nutrition, information on the cultivation of products such as corn, sugar beet, wheat, sunflower, cotton and pistachios in these regions, as well as ways to achieve maximum efficiency with effective fertilization were shared.

Dr. While Sait Gezgin gave the training on "Plant Nutrition and Fertilization Techniques in Sugarbeet and Corn", GÜBRETAŞ expert agricultural engineers shared their suggestions and field experiences on this subject with the producers. 160 leading producers attended the event, which was attended by GÜBRETAŞ General Manager İbrahim Yumaklı and Agricultural Credit Cooperatives Gaziantep Regional Union Manager Mustafa Aslan.

Before the meeting, soil samples were taken from 170 different points of the region's producers, accompanied by GÜBRETAŞ soil analysis tool and agricultural engineers, and free soil analysis and plant nutrition recipe creation services were provided after the analysis.

Speaking at the meeting in Elbistan, GÜBRETAŞ General Manager İbrahim Yumaklı stated that the need for food increases with the increase in population in the world and that this situation necessitates maximizing the yield obtained from the unit area and said, "In line with the establishment purpose of GÜBRETAŞ, to provide added value to our country's agriculture, to provide high productivity and superior nutrition to its farmers." "While we develop innovative products within the scope of R&D studies so that they can reach quality, on the other hand, we organize events all over Turkey throughout the year in order to popularize conscious agriculture and raise awareness among producers," he said.

Giving information about the model production area studies that GÜBRETAŞ carried out at 27 points in 2019 and achieved efficiency above the average of Turkey, General Manager Yumaklı said, “As a company, we always stand by our farmers, leading producers and conscious agriculture. "As a company that has been adding value to these lands for 68 years, our biggest goal is to increase the productivity and quality in agricultural areas," he said.

180 producers and leading provincial administrators related to agriculture attended the training meeting titled "Plant Nutrition and Fertilization Techniques" held in Muş. In this meeting, conscious fertilization techniques for wheat, sugar beet and sunflower cultivation, which are common in the region, were explained.

The other meeting jointly organized by Diyarbakır and Şanlıurfa regional directorates of GÜBRETAŞ was attended by cooperative employees and agricultural engineers affiliated with Şanlıurfa Agricultural Credit Cooperatives Regional Union. At the meeting in Şanlıurfa, information was given about conscious plant nutrition and liquid powder products regarding the products grown in the region.

Thus, GÜBRETAŞ continued to support conscious agricultural production by meeting nearly 400 producers and agricultural engineers in 3 different provinces only on December 12, within the scope of training and awareness activities.
