GÜBRETAŞ, which also pioneers social responsibility activities with the mission of being the first company in the sector, provides scholarship support to a certain number of farmer children who study at agricultural faculties and need economic support, in order to increase qualified manpower in the agricultural sector and to encourage agricultural engineering.

Applications are required to be the child of a farmer and to have registered for the first time in the 2020-2021 academic year in an undergraduate or graduate program in one of the departments of Horticulture, Agricultural Structures and Irrigation, Plant Protection, Field Crops, Soil Science and Plant Nutrition, and Biosystems Engineering of the agricultural faculties.

Students who want to enter the relevant departments of the Faculty of Agriculture this year and benefit from GÜBRETAŞ Education Scholarship support will be able to apply for the scholarship on the website until the night of October 23, 2020.

General Manager İbrahim Yumaklı said, "Within the scope of this social responsibility project that we have been continuing since 2007, we have supported the education life of more than 400 students so far. Many of our scholars have graduated and are contributing to the agricultural sector as agricultural engineers or academicians. Reminding that payments are made for 9 months during the academic year, İbrahim Yumaklı said, "After the scholarship commission carefully evaluates the applications to be made until midnight on October 23, we will announce the students of the faculty of agriculture who are entitled to a scholarship this year on our company's website on November 13, 2020."
