GÜBRETAŞ, the leading company in its sector, concluded the Collective Labor Agreement (TİS) negotiations it initiated with the Petrol-İş Union for its employees in Kocaeli Yarımca Facilities, its main production base, with full consensus and agreement in a short time.
Pointing out that this year's Collective Bargaining Agreement process, which started on January 27, was completed even earlier than the legal period, General Manager İbrahim Yumaklı said, "After 2020, which we completed with operational and financial records in the company's history, with our human-oriented management approach and positive dialogue-based approach, our covered employees in Yarımca will have a Collective We also concluded the Employment Agreement process in a record time. "While we supported our farmers with uninterrupted product supply and agricultural consultancy services during the global epidemic, on the other hand, we achieved a full agreement that satisfied our employees in the factory by prioritizing employee motivation," he said.
GÜBRETAŞ continues to increase its contribution to agricultural production with its uninterrupted fertilizer supply and conscious agriculture dissemination activities, especially during the Covid-19 epidemic period, in line with its responsibilities in the sector; It completed 2020, which was a busy year, with records in production, sales, exports, consolidated turnover and profitability.
GÜBRETAŞ completed the Collective Labor Agreement negotiations, which are held every two years, regarding the employees affiliated with the Petrol-İş Union working at the main production base, Yarımca Facilities, in the Körfez district of Kocaeli, in a very short time this year. In addition to the wage increases provided to covered employees in Yarımca within the scope of the agreement, the agreement reached on "job definition, personnel selection, business development and remuneration according to rank/seniority" was also welcomed by union representatives and workers.
Speaking at the signing ceremony of the Collective Labor Agreement negotiations for the 2021-2022 period, which GÜBRETAŞ is conducting with the Petrol-İş Union, General Manager İbrahim Yumaklı said, "Our company, which has been producing added value to the country's agriculture and economy for 69 years, attaches great importance to the satisfaction of all its stakeholders. In this context, after completing 2020 with operational and financial records, we concluded the Collective Labor Agreement process of our in-scope employees in Yarımca in a record time, with our people-oriented holistic management approach and positive dialogue-based approach. According to the legal legislation, there is normally a 60-day period for the first phase of the negotiations, which started on January 27. However, thanks to the open communication we established with the managers of our stakeholders, the workers' and employers' unions, we achieved results in approximately 1.5 months. "While we support our farmers with our uninterrupted product supply and agricultural consultancy services during the global epidemic, we are happy to reach a full agreement that satisfies our workers in the factory by prioritizing employee motivation," he said.
Emphasizing that they implemented many practices to protect the health of employees during the epidemic period, İbrahim Yumaklı said, "In 2020, we demonstrated a successful performance with the synergy of working together with all our stakeholders, especially our farmers, from our sales points to our employees. The flexibility and efforts made by our in-house employees against the challenges brought by the epidemic contributed to our company continuing its operational activities at an increasing pace. Together with all our stakeholders, we have produced benefits for this country at every stage, from the production stage to the highly productive harvest obtained by farmers who choose and use our fertilizers. For this reason, we would like to thank all our stakeholders, from our farmers to our dealers, from our agricultural engineers in the field to our workers in the factory, who contributed to our success. "Moving from this main idea, we have implemented some practices that have been talked about for many years with the Collective Labor Agreement covering the year 2021-2022 and thanked our in-scope employees for their efforts," he said.
