Gübre Fabrikaları Türk A.Ş., which was planned to be held in April but was postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. (GÜBRETAŞ) 68th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting was held in Istanbul on 25 June 2020. Financial and operational results for 2019 were shared at the meeting held in the Head Office building with the participation of Board members and company managers, as well as shareholders, in accordance with social distance rules within the scope of coronavirus epidemic measures. The General Assembly could also be followed electronically thanks to the e-GKS live broadcast.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Fahrettin Poyraz stated that GÜBRETAŞ, the largest company of the Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, continues its projects and investments with its deep-rooted experience and corporate vision and has had a successful year in this regard. Stating that the company continued to work with great effort and dedication to continue agricultural production during the epidemic period, Poyraz said, "During this period, we once again saw the critical role of food supply and agricultural production."

General Manager İbrahim Yumaklı, who made a presentation about the company's 2019 activities and operational and financial results at the meeting, said, "We will continue our efforts to produce added value for the country's agriculture, our investments and R&D studies, and our activities to popularize conscious agriculture with an increasing tempo in the next period."

In addition to other agenda items discussed at the General Assembly, task distribution was also made. In the new term, Fahrettin Poyraz continues to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Ahmet Bağcı as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Prof. Seyfullah Arslantürk, whose term of office has expired, is replaced by Prof. Dr. Vahit Kirişçi was elected as an Independent Board Member.
