GÜBRETAŞ, which has been continuing its mission of providing high efficiency and quality increase in agricultural production for 68 years, continues its efforts to institutionalize this approach. The company, which implemented efficiency-enhancing projects in its in-house business processes with the Lean Six Sigma applications it launched at Yarımca Facilities in 2016, achieved significant savings with its optimum efficiency approach. The Operational Excellence System project aims to maintain quality and excellence in production processes.
GÜBRETAŞ Excellence System (GMS) envisages developing effective solutions to bring operations to a certain standard and ensure their continuity. The aim of the project is to encourage innovative ideas, ensure the safety of working environments, and maximize operational efficiency and product quality.
Making an evaluation on the subject, General Manager İbrahim Yumaklı said, "As a 68-year-old well-established company, we started the GÜBRETAŞ Excellence System (GMS) study to always do everything we do in the best way possible. “In this way, we aim to always ensure the safety of working environments, efficiency in activities and the quality of our products,” he said.
Reminding that the first steps of the GÜBRETAŞ Excellence System were taken with the Lean Six Sigma studies at Yarımca Facilities in 2016, Yumaklı said, "GÜBRETAŞ Excellence System is the phase of continuing the continuous improvement journey we started with the Lean Six Sigma projects and learning and applying the necessary methods together with our friends in the field. "Thanks to these practices, we aim to make continuous improvement an important part of the corporate culture," he said.
