GÜBRETAŞ's 72nd Ordinary General Assembly Meeting was held on May 2, 2024, with the participation of board members, company managers and shareholders. In addition to physical participation, the meeting, where the financial and operational results of 2023 were evaluated, was also accessed via live broadcast via e-GKS (Electronic General Assembly System).

GÜBRETAŞ's 72nd Ordinary General Assembly Meeting has been completed. Board members, company managers and shareholders attended the meeting held at GÜBRETAŞ's headquarters building.

Evaluating the year in the greeting speech of the 72nd Ordinary General Assembly, General Manager Aytaç Onkun said, "Our priority in our domestic fertilizer activities in 2023 was to focus on the modernization and sustainability of our production infrastructure as an indicator of our confidence in our country and the future of the agricultural sector. "With the modernization activities we carried out in our facilities, we have strengthened the production infrastructure and completed critical maintenance, repair and renewal works that will ensure the continuity of production, especially energy efficiency," he said.

Referring to the economic developments taking place around the world, Onkun said, the crises caused by the Russia and Ukraine war have once again shown the geopolitical importance of our country in terms of international trade. We continued our commitment to agricultural production in parallel with the steps taken by our country's administration to re-establish international peace and prosperity, which were undermined by the risks posed by the Gaza attacks. "We worked together with our main shareholder, Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, to develop our agricultural production," he said.

General Manager Aytaç Onkun, who also gave information about new product studies and activities, evaluated: "Creating value by implementing products and services from different perspectives and reflecting them on business processes is possible by building commercial success on the basis of social benefit."

Continuing his evaluations, Onkun said, "I believe that our successes regarding our 2023 activities that we presented to you will continue to increase in 2024. "I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to our Board of Directors, our main shareholder Agricultural Credit Cooperatives and all our stakeholders, and I hope that 2024 will be a year full of peace, tranquility, health and prosperity," he concluded.
