GÜBRETAŞ's 70th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting was held on May 25, 2022, with the participation of board members, company managers and shareholders. Evaluating the year 2021 in his speech at the meeting, GÜBRETAŞ General Manager Mehmet Yener said that in a difficult period when the economic effects of the pandemic continued and many negativities such as global energy crisis, financial contraction, supply problems were experienced, GÜBRETAŞ continued its activities without interruption with its strong risk management, supply method change and operational efficiency studies. Stating that all the work carried out throughout the year was positively reflected in the financial balance sheet of 2021, the General Manager said: “GÜBRETAŞ increased the production amount within the scope of its Turkey activities by 34 percent compared to the previous year, reaching a record level. In this context, a total of 920 thousand tons of fertilizer was produced, including 865 thousand tons of solid fertilizer and 55 thousand tons of liquid and powder fertilizer. While solid fertilizer sales increased by 6 percent compared to last year, reaching 2.1 million tons, we maintained our leading position with a market share of over 31 percent. Liquid and powder fertilizer sales increased by 22 percent, reaching 72 thousand tons, and a total of 2.2 million tons of fertilizer in various compositions were sold in 2021. Production and sales successes; "It was reflected in the consolidated net sales revenue as 10.8 billion TL, in the consolidated net period profit as 470 million TL, and in the parent company's share of the net period profit as 523 million TL." he said.

Referring to GÜBRETAŞ's sustainability efforts, the General Manager stated that efficiency has been increased with the contribution of the studies carried out under the headings of production, finance, society and environment, especially with many new steps taken in recent years.
